Communication is the lifeblood of business and it is no surprise that corporate telecommunications and network costs are among the largest indirect costs a business has to manage.

Communication costs represent the second largest indirect expense line in most businesses. Yet modern software tools exist to improve productivity and manage costs in nearly every business function within the enterprise — except communication services.

Managing voice and data retail contracts, tracking employee communication assets from mobile phones to PDAs and keeping up with the increased complexity and usage charges has created a
significant capital drain for 'your' businesses.

In most cases, large enterprises have turned to decentralized staffing plans to manage all the devices and services that companies require.

Sad as it may seem, I once remember quoting that the IDC estimated that $93 billion will be spent on financial, network and services management software. Yet, communications remains one of the largest untapped markets for products that improve management efficiency.

All the Best

Can't agree more with you Gary, communications is the essence of business. no comms, no business. I think that Ant's point of view here was how to cut down on costs while preserving the quality of communications within and without enterprises. That's what I got from it anyway. Thanks for stopping by.
